WKAR eNews: Wed 10/21/09
Don't forget that tonight is "WKAR Night at the Michigan Theatre/Jackson." Have the pleasure of enjoying the opening night of the L.A. Philharmonic in high definition on the Michigan's large screen and in its beautiful environment. It's free. The show begins promptly at 8 p.m., but you may want to be there a few minutes before! While WKAR concluded its fundraising campaign on Friday with what we thought was about $153,000 toward toward a $165,000 goal, our friends have kept pledging to help us reach that goal! As of this morning, we have received $163,382 and 1508 pledges. Help us make the total! You may continue to pledge online at WKAR.org or call member services at (517) 432-9527. And, if you already made your gift, we thank you. Jeanie Croope Editor
